TOUR ESTIVO DEI SIMPLE PLAN

» TOUR ESTIVO DEI SIMPLE PLAN La band già da un pò è molto impegnata con un tour estivo promozionale che li vede ospiti di vari festival & manifestazioni in giro per l'Europa, Asia & Nord America. Hanno trionfato agli MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2008 esibendosi nell'hit single "When I'm Gone" (il cui video lo trovate quì sotto & l'intervista sul Red Carpet). Quì invece si può vedere un loro v-log della loro serata. Fantastica invece è stata la loro performance al Rock Am Ring, il celebre festival che si tiene ogni anno in Germania, al Nürburgring tra il 6 e l'8 giugno scorso. Anche Mtv Italia ha trasmesso uno stralcio del concerto facendoci vedere "Welcome To My Life". Tutte le foto le potete visualizzare alla sezione "Festival" in questo sito www.mtv.de. Poco meno di un paio di settimane fa hanno trionfato ai Much Music Awards 2008 nella loro patria, il Canada, portandosi a casa l'ambito premio di Favorite Canadian Group con "When I'm Gone". Molto insolita ma non poco apprezzata è stata l'esibizione della band con la crew dei Flo Rida, di cui si può quì vedere il video. Ultima chicca della serata del 15 giugno a Toronto l'ha postata il noto blogger Perez Hilton nel suo sito riguardo l'incontro con la band che l'ha ospitato nel loro video ("When I'm Gone ovviamente). ONE NIGHT IN TORONTO We had SUCH a great time in Canada on Sunday! There were so many awesome moments, but the coolest had to be the opportunity to have our own part The lovely and talented Melanie C. (above) came out to kick it with us and the boys from Simple Plan killed it with their super-energetic performance. Princess RiRi left us an umbrella in our dressing room from her new collection, and we're sure she hand delivered it herself and no one else got one!We met Joey Mac and the rest of the New Kids on the Block, who, sources tell us had some drama with Rainn Wilson.No one would tell us exactly what happened but there appeared to be some "drama" that went down between them backstage. By all accounts, The Office star, Wilson, was being quite difficult. Sources tell us he was supposed to introduce the Jabbawockeez, winners of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. However, he refused to do that because he didn't know who they were and thought it was "beneath him." Wait, who is Rainn Wilson again????We did get to briefly say hi to Chace Crawford - swoon - and we met Jesse McCartney, who was feeling that video we made of his song. Overall, we had such a great time. We love being on MOD every week - live from Hollywood - and we truly love coming to the MuchMusic Video Awards every year.It's like a family reunion!Oh, and this year, our family wasn't talking as much shit. The Canadian Press association wrote that "Presenters included a noticeably slimmed-down Perez Hilton, the celebrity gossip blogger."Too hot!!!And, CTV wrote, "Gossip guru Perez Hilton stole the show with a slate suit punched up with a pink shirt and striped tie. Add in his pink lipstick, rosy blush, mascara and slick hair and Hilton almost topped Rihanna for the night's prettiest look." Too hot to handle!!!! » VOTAZIONI & YOUR LOVE IS A LIE Purtroppo il 7 aprile è già passato ed è stato fantastico. Concerto indimenticabile! (presto magari caricaremo qualche foto dell'evento) E' passata anche l'ospitata a TRL in cui la band ha assicurato che torneranno il prossimo autunno/inverno per altri appuntamenti live. Da non dimenticare anche la divertente intervista a Chuck&Seb a Our Noise sempre nel pomeriggio di Mtv. Vi ricordo anche di votare costantemente il nuovo video del secondo singolo estratto dal loro ultimo album "Simple Plan": YOUR LOVE IS A LIE. Dobbiamo farli salire nella classifica di TRL quì & i Simple Plan nella loro nomination per Best Band ai prossimi TRL Awards.
